You should be burning in mode 1. Why are you trying to burn mode 2?

I'm afraid I can't endorse that. It seemed to me it was a Mode1 disk image when I burned it some days ago. But, still, I may be wrong. Just be sure to check before using it on a Mk-III.

On second thoughts, if it is a Mk-III you own, you have no use for a V31 at all, be it Mode2 or whatever. If your current version number is not too old, you wouldn't be loading anything different from what you already have: no matter the higher version number there is no new software in it for Mk-IIIs since V24 at least.

So, if you really need it, and can not find a Mode2 V31 to download, just burn a Mode2 V30, V29, or V24. They all carry the same software as far as Mk-IIIs are concerned.

Regards

Yes, to confirm what Malaspina said... all versions of the NavOS update disc from the very old V22 (8/2003) to the latest V31 all include the most recent NavOS update for the MKIII, which is 3-1/63.

See this page for a chart.

So don't waste your time trying to get V31 to work - it won't matter anyway! Just use one of the older discs that already comes in Mode 2 - it will get your MKIII up to date just fine.

It is not Mode2. I checked the image. The image is Mode1. That's why it killed your Mk3.
