Whistle What kind of Navi?
Hello all.
This is my first post here.
I did get my BMW X5 for 1 week ago.
Its old -01 but it´s soooo nice.

I wonder if someone know how i can see what model of my navigator i have.
Cuz i wanna upgrade the navi and maps.
And can i download them or do i have to buy them?

x5world FAQ for navs has all the info on how to do it when you go to the settings screen.

I system say´s SW-3/1-30.
Now i want to upgrade it to the latest and get the new maps.

Can u help me with this?

Still i dont know what i shall use... my english is bad. but my guess is that i should upgrade to 3/1-63? Right?
I dont wanna kill my navi.

You have MK3 navi.

The latest software version is 3-1/63, it started from v22 and did not changed in the following navi versions.

Be careful with MK3 - this is the most sensible navi unit to the soft quality, very easy to kill!!!
