Custom Splash V31 - GifExtractor Help

Hi,

I need some help changing the splash screen on my Mk4 nav.

I've searched the forums and found out exactly how to do it but I've run into a little problem and was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same.

I've downloaded V31 and used UltraIso to locate the Navboot file.

I then used the GifExtractor to locate the original splash screen and update it with my personal image.

I initially tried to do it without ticking the 'Do not check file size' and 'complicated gif' boxes but this did not work.

My second attempt I ticked both boxes and my splash screen was loaded onto the Navboot file.

but......

A 'Mini Splash screen' has now also appeared at the bottom of the Navboot file.

I tried this again but the Mini screen still appears.

Will this screen show up on my Nav or is it just an automatic extra which doesn't get used?

Also, is there any way to delete the image?

Any help would be appreciated.

No need to delete Mini logo - if you'll be update BMW navi, Mini logo would not be used.....
