Help with Sat Nav

Just retrofitted sat nav to my X5 using the retrofit loom. I have sound but no picture. Power light on DVD on so DVD drive seems ok.

The only plug which was unconnected was at the front of the car(where the screen is) which had a small black plug with three wires(yellow, blak and brown)

I haven't had the car reprogrammned. Is this essential and what if it is isn't done?

Cheers

Rob

If you haven't already done so, carefully review Joe Puma's excellent write-up on a nav retrofit - http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/all-...system-x5.html

Programming won't alter the ability to display the picture.

Was the black plug part of the retrofit wiring loom?
