How can I identify what type of system is in 3 year old X3 ?
Is there a way to distinguish the version ?
How can I do this ?

The system is a Mk4 DVD based system and uses the HIGH DVD's (NOT Business or Professional).

To find out the version of firmware loaded, go into the Nav setup screen, and on the top line you will see the version number. 00 is the latest version available (V.31)

C2s (and Z4s) can only have the Mk4 nav system. Nothing else works.

Press MENU then select Settings (or Set) and look in the top right corner of the screen.

Current version is 4-1/00 (which means 4-1/100)
