upgraded software..computer slower?

hey guys. stealer just upgraded my MKIII to version..21 i believe...ill double check that..anyway, its running a bit slower. is this normal? for example, when i open the door to the car before start up it takes about 5-10 seconds just for the -=BMW=- logo to pop up.

I can't recall ever doing an update where I perceived the speed to be slower afterward. You might want to get your unit up to version 3-1/63 (which requires a V22 or higher disk) so that you are completely up to date.

I currently have a MkIV but used to have a MkIII in my X5. What I told you above applies to a MkIII. See http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...ticle&artid=59 for info on the version numbers that apply to the Mk-series nav drives.
