New car, new forum, no clue.
 Howdy. Just bought a Y reg (2001) X5 and the sat nav is way out of date but I'm not sure which discs I need to update it.Sorry if this has come up before - please be kind and help a dumb blonde.

That all depends on if you would like to update the maps, or the SatNav system in general.
The SatNav operating system, if you like, can be updated as per this thread: http://www.xoutpost.com/navigation-sy...available.html The maps can be updated officially by purchasing the relevant map from your BMW dealer, but if you look around you might find an alternative way of obtaining a map
