BMW Navigation Business MK IV upgrade problem

I have updated my Business Navigation (small screen and MK IV unit) to the latest software update. All went smooth when updating from V20 to V26, then to v27, then v27.1. After that I've upgraded to v291, v30 and v31. Starting with v291 the display shows only the arrow indicating direction but it is missing the distance that was next to the arrow. I think that I also miss voice but I don't know for sure (is there any way to check?).
I would like to know if are there any options to enable displaying distance or if should I DOWNGRADE to version 27.1. Anyone could advise?

Business navigation and MK4 are different navi systems.....

So which one do you have?

There were lot of improvements in v31 over v20. I must admit that the biggest one was in v26 (or v27) which gave me PLZ (post code) navigation which was missing.

Actually, from what I see, the navigation computer is the same (MK4), only the display is different. Business navigation has the small amber display that shows only direction and distance.

That is NOT exactly true, MK4 (this is a DVD and NAVI computer in one unit) can be combined with the small Business screen... so our friend redamo knows what's he is saying...
The fact that he is using MK4, means that the HIGH version of DVDs is used for navigation...
Regarding the question of DISPLAYING distance, I think it can be arranged in the SETTINGS menu.

Thanks, I'll give a closer look in settings although seems odd that after each upgrade the distance was displayed next to arrow (I've checked functionality after each upgrade) but suddenly when I've upgraded from v.27.1 to v.29.1 the distance dissapeared. Could be due to the fact that I've skipped v.28? Anyway, if all will fail I guess my only option will remain DOWNGRADING. My advice to anyone using the MKIV and small displaying unit is to stop upgrading at version v.27.1 till I sort things up.
