How to reduce Business dvd

Hi
anybody knows if is possible to reduce new Business 2008 DL so it can fit into a 4.7gb dvd?
Something, some folder could be deleted without cause malfunctionings?

Another question: Which version or sw of Business navi, dvd DL can be read from?

Remove unwanted language POIs

There are 6 languages on the disc, remove what you don't want

Different structure makes it difficult

Hi,

I've the same prob like Symbian.

My "almost new" company car - E91 - has just a Business Nav.
I'd like to update the nav version to 2008-2 and downloaded the new nav version as ISO-file.
Unfortunately I can't burn it directly on a DVD disk due to the fact that the content of the ISO is bit larger (4.47GB) than the space of an empty DVD (4.38GB).

The structure is totally different from E39 High nav which I'm used to "pimp".
So there is no option to easily delete some POI files from unused languages.

Here the structure of the business DVD - there are no folders:
DATABASE.BD 96KB
HBINFO_MAP 1KB
INFO_MAP 1KB
KN074EU16X11T01.DB2_INF 2KB
KN074EU16X11T01.DB2_LIT 478.902KB
KN074EU16X11T01.DB2_SDS 7.436KB
KN074EU16X11T01.DB2_SP5 14.604KB
KN074EU16X11T01.DB2_XAC 1.672.582KB
KN074EU16X11T01F.DB2_GDB 813.806KB
KNT074EU16X09T01 1.697.492KB

Can somebody give an advise on how to burn such a image?
At the momnet I'm thinking in direction reducing the size of the image by deleting a file. Will use a RW-DVD and a try-and-error approach.
Any structured advise is highly appreciated.

@ Symbian: Did you solve the prob already?

Best regards,
Matthias

Hi Mat
nope...I should try to delete some folders but I haven't Business system on my car, so I can't test if without those folders dvd works properly...
I should try for a friend of mine, but hesn't close to me with his home...
That is way I must be sure on which folder can be delete...
Let me know if you have some new...
bye

I think it is the same like with carindb file - to reduce the image it is necessary to now how files (i think KN074EU16X11T01.DB2_XAC, KN074EU16X11T01F.DB2_GDB or/and KNT074EU16X09T01) are compiled! I do not think that another possibility is exists.....

Try to burn to a DL disk....... If your navi could not read DL disks try to update SW (dealer will help you to do that)
