What do you guys think?

I've been offered a MkIV nav computer to replace my broken MKIII, the guy wants £250 and comes with a warranty. Does that sound like a good deal?

250 GBP = 310 Euro = bargain.

brand new = 999 Euros on ebay

2nd hand = around 400 Euros, maybe down to 350.

So I think 310 Euros is a good price

Ok thanks, so it's a good price.

Is there much advantage going for a MkIV over a MkIII.

Also I read everywhere about V32, do I need to download this? I really would like postcodes on the nav, does this enable me to do this?

A mkr is hugely better than a Mk3.

Main benefits:
3D-perspective view
Heaps faster
Better graphics
Can read latest maps on dual-layer DVDs
Customisable - you can add custom POIs easily

V32 is the latest version of the operating system software. V32 contains 4-1/100 software for the Mk4.
Whether you need it or not depends what your Mk4 comes loaded with. If it has 4-1/100 fitted, you don't need V32 OS disc. If older than 4-1/100, then updating the software is beneficial (new features, bug fixes, etc)
