MK3 Navigation Country Changing Question
Didnt know where else to turn, so Im hoping someone here can help me. I just upgraded my navigation from version 17 to version 31. The navigation system switched over to Europe. Is there anyway of getting the navigation unit to switch to USA again without taking the car to the BMW dealership? I havent gotten the new maps from navteq yet, so will be doing that soon. Thanks! |

What do you mean by switched over to Europe?

But some USA people prefer Region=Europe, as you no longer have the Accept screen. You can still load any languages you want, and code the nav to however you like, using NavCoder. See www.siegenthaler.co.nz for NavCoder. |

I updated the software for the navigation from v.17 to the latest version for 31. When I did that, the measurements were coming out in ft,etc, and for some reason it thought it was in the Netherlands. The old North America Country Disc doesnt work.

Your nav has resorted back to default coding due to the software upgrade. It needs to be coded back to your car.
You can do this at a dealer or using NavCoder (www.siegenthaler.co.nz) |
