Laser Cleaner ???

I was originally having some issues with my MKIV computer reading my burned Nav disks. It would only happen sometimes, most when you stop the car for a quick run to the store and come back out and start it up the DVD would have read issues.

On the recomendation of this site, I purchased a CD/DVD laser cleaner, but I am not sure how to make it work. The instructions indicate that you insert the DVD into the drive and select track 2 for cleaning. Unfortunately, I am not sure how to select track 2 on the MKIV computer. In an attempt to make it work, I woukld just insert it and eject it like 5 times, so that it could get that initial read\cleaning. It did not seem to resolve the issue though.

I just reburned a new copy since the one I am using is like a year or so old.

Any help would be appreciated.

just insert the dvd cleaner disc and wait it to spin down and eject (it wil probably eject itself) then insert again, 2-3 times like that and it should be clean. nav drive will scan the disc and i am sure it passes the 2nd track, since it wont stay there long its good to do this 2-3 times.
