no added pois for selecting

HI,

I have a problem with the nav system of my neighbour...
I have a E46 cab with MKIV nav system and use the 2008-2 high version with added pois of PMN. It works without any problems, I use a normal dvd, also a single layer dvd.

My neighbour drives a e46 touring with the same nav system, my modded dvds works for navigation, but when he will looking for added pois, the system shows us a entry falk tour information under the menu point GPS navigation - information - tour information - info to location and no added pois.

What could be the problem?
The nav system is a original system and not a reinstalled system.

Check the map disc.

The extra menus like Falk etc are all dependent on the map disc. Compare his map file structure and the content of the files, and you'll find differences in some of the text files that drive the options

thanks for your answer, but could you the steps to get a resolution explain me more exactly?
Then the dvd works in my car without any problems, but in neighbours car did I get the failure with falk...

Does have the same OS version that you do?

Its the same, but when it wasnt the same, it shouldnt be the failure - then the navigation works fine.

Du muss alle Dateien und deren Inhalt überprüfen und vergleichern, besonders in den konfigurations-Text Dateien

aber wieso läuft die DVD auf meinem Navi System und bei einem anderen nicht? Das muss doch eine Ursache am Navi selbst sein.
Welche Dateien meinst du mit Konfigurations-Text Dateien?

INFO.PSC = # Product Specific Contents file
nnn.LSC = # Language Specific Contents file for language nnn
RPD.DIC = data? information? contents file

PSC setzt die Konfig für die ganze CD ein
LSC setzt die Konfig pro Sprache ein

Die Dateien genau anschauen

Sonst auch die Kodierung in deinem und im anderen Navi mit NavCoder anschauen

Your problem was firmware, right?
