"convert" nav-dvd to cd

Is it possible to "convert" an dvd ISO with NAVI HIGH to work on a cd?

My MK4 dvd laser is broken and I don't think I'll get a new one before I'm going on vacation. The FW CD-disc works however so it can read CDs.

Possible if the map is small enough

Check the size of the DVD: if smaller than 700MB you can put it on a CD and the nav can still read it.
