DVD Nav play DVD Movies?
hello, i am new here. I have a 330Ci (2004 model) with stock TV-Nav system.
I am wondering if the DVD-Nav OS thats in the Trunk, is it capable of playing DVD movies? I hope this is not a repost. Oh, an dyes i do understand that this is a X5 forum, but i was recommended to come here, and i figured you may be of help because the onboard Nav-Tv systems are the same throughout the BMW range. |

Hmm... i hate that response! jokes matey!.
But the reason i ask, is because... the Navigation system can take DVD disks. I just thought, it may be a simple software upgrade, to allow the DVD-based navigation to read DVD movies. I mean.. it has similar hardware as a DVD-player doesn't it not? |

powers1 ---> i have tried, and just get an error.
I wasn't having a go at UCrewX5 or anything like that. Sorry if that is the impression i may have given. I am just wondering if there is any sort of software update/upgrade that may give it the ability to 'read' DVDs?. |
