Maybe one of you guys with an MkIII can shed some light?

Got the most recent Navteq CD (thanks, NCX), and believe it or not, when I go to input the city, Washington, DC is NOT AN OPTION! I used the Information function to lock it in, then it tells me I am "driving in a travel restricted area". I was 10 blocks or more from the White House at the time. I know the airspace is restricted, but damn!

Anyone else able to choose Washington, DC from the list of cities on their MkIII Northeast CD?

JV

JV - wish I could help, but I upgraded my MkIII to a MkIV about a year and a half ago.

my Mk3 once routed me thru DC, thanks to construction preventing an earlier egress - ha-a-a, rte 50 at Fri rush hour - 2007.2 CDs and the original 3-1/20 software - I updated to 3-1/63, but did not try going thru DC - now have a Mk4 DVD 4-1/00 w/2008.1 map - will have to try a DC address, as I may be going up to McLean, Va (if the inquiry into my FS: winter setup is legit)
