MKIV interface question

Hey,

i'm sorry but i'm a E39 owner with a MKIV and this place seems to be pretty up and up on the whole nav knowledge so i'm going to start off by apologizing with, maybe, some newbie questions.

1: i just got my MKIV and did the V26 upgrade. when i did the V25 in my MKII, i loved the fact that there was no accept screen. with the MKIV with the V26 upgrade, the annoying accept screen is back. i have a stealth one so i guess i can program it to "auto-accept" for me but i really don't want to rely on that to do this step.

2: in my MKII, i was able to see my OBC while i have the radio on. i no longer see this option in the SETTING menu. anyone know how i can get this setting back? just having the CD and the track is boring plus looking at the OBC on the screen is quite helpful at times.

That's all the question i have now... i'm actually looking forward in going to work tomorrow just to drive and see how the new have works out.


OH, almost forgot though i guess this should work itself out. i bought the drive from someone in NY. it got shipped to me and when i installed it, the nav still thinks i'm in NY. I haven't driven around since the install so i can only say, it's a safe assumption that when i go driving around, the system is going to lock in and correct itself, right? i really hope so.
