LED light units/bulbs

Hi all,

I have changed my rear light units for new LED ones, looks fine and works beautifully but...
Is there a way of losing the extra ballast resistors?
I have tried to re-program the LSZ (E46 light control module) with NavCoder (which by now almost becomes more like 'BMWcoder' thanks to Jochem ) but I can only switch off the 'cold monitoring' on the turning indicators for instance.
This partly works because now it does a couple of normal flashes and then it realizes that there may be something wrong and therefor it begins to flash faster to indicate a broken lightbulb.
How is this done on the original rear BMW light units, also with ballast?

Cheers, John
