Problems with mk3 new computer install

You guys obviously know what you are doing, and I'd be eternally grateful if you could help me out on a problem. I've got a 2001 Range Rover with a 4:3 screen that I purchased a few months ago but the mk3 navigation wasn't running, only showing a white screen. I tried all methods mentioned on this site to get it to come back alive but to no avail. So I made the stupid decision to purchase an mk3 computer on ebay from a member in the EU. Once it arrived I realized it had come from Latvia. After I plugged it in I began trying to decipher the prompts that appear to be in spanish, but I'm not entirely sure.

Anyhow, on the main screen when I first start the car is an option for configuracion, which I cannot access, as in the scroll wheel won't allow me to even open this function. The navigation system works with my navtec Oregon disc, but all menu options are in spanish. The system does speak in english during the navigation process.

What would you folks recommend doing. I've tried installing new OS but as best as I can tell, the computer says install a navigation disc.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

-A frustrated Range Rover owner.
