Actually, there are 6 different part numbers for the E53 X5 Navigation manual. I know BMW added a page on using the MP3 capable CD Changer for model year 2006.

For Example:
01 41 0 159 872 for 09/2005+
01 41 0 158 616 for 09/2004 - 08/2005
