Mono Mk3 to Colour Mk3

Hi, I would like to thank all the members of the website for the help that they gave me to recode my MK3 from monochrom to colour one. It was not easy but I did it. The big problem of the manipulation is to create a modified image in mode2/form1. After a lot of test I was obliged to use mode2cdmaker.exe(the modified version proposed by Jochen) in order to create a correct mode2/form1 file. My last problem is to change the language in french. Is it possible to change it with Navtweak and Navspeak. I saw that is also possible with Navcoder. I think, I will buy a navcoder interface+software.
Regards.

If you want to change one of the existing languages in your navi to the French you have to use NavCoder+interface

If you want to change some phrases in Franch you have to use Navtweak.

Use NavCoder + I-Bus Interface for coding Mono to Colour.
You can also change your language with NavCoder, but if you want you can change more words or phrases with NavSpeak (see NavTweak)

As Jochen said me to use Navcoder to recode mono to colour I needed a car which recognize the gps. The problem was that my car does not recognize the mk3. I had to find a car with mono monitor and place Navcoder on it. I was not this possibility. So I did it directly by recoding the V27 nav_sw software!!
For the changing of the language I will buy Ibus interface+Navcoder in the next days!
Thank you for the help!!

Hi Jilonbmw,

I read you recode your MK3 from monochrome to colour only using update cd?

Can you explain more or can I make copy of update cd? I have Rover 75 and bought wrong mk3, also monochome, but my rover needs colour.

Thanks for your help!
