Highest software V for 2004 X5 4.8

Hi guys!

Was wondering what is the highest version of software I can or should run on my wifes 2004 4.8 X5. I did the V29.1 (..hack with perspective mode and auto accept start up screen) and the navigation unit keeps crashing.

You have MK-4 navi unit. The last navi soft is v31 (or 32 - does not matter for MK4 they are the same)

What do you mean saying "crashing"? Rebooting or what?

freezes, cannot read the disk, shuts off....all of it. I have a "copy" of the 2007 maps in there now. I will throw in the 04' map disk to see if that changes anything.

Update the navi soft to v31 (32).... this should help

Or your map does not burned correctly or on the low speed...... try to update SW and then check again map

Thanks Scuba. I believe the disk burn ia adequate because it works fine in the other Nav units we have. I'll look into the latest software update and will follow up.

Means you have not adequate navi SW in your device! ...... Change SW, evetything should be good!
