New prject for TV and need help

Hello Experts

just bought this item from eBay..i think its a good deal ..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=300296055292
the project is to enable TV and connect a backup camera...
the question is:
if i have a wide screen with navigation system MK4 what parts do i need to order for the TV to work and the camera to be connected - still looking for the best cam type- here am talking about the wiring harness and the antinnas...etc and the connection diagram or steps if possible....

i know i know that littel search can help.... but i need to make sure from the part numbers to complete the KIT simple request from experts...

He already has the OEM Video module

Try these....
http://www.bmwmotorsports.org/pdf/BM...stallation.pdf (this is for the E46 though, but gives you wiring info)
http://www.xoutpost.com/38007-post4.html (backup camera info)

Also

www.realoem.com will give you part numbers

As you already have NAV then it should be easy(ish)

It's a good analog P/N. It won't work for digital though. Is Saudi going to digital? You will need the antenna amp/amps and leads and the main lead between the nav and TV module. The camera leads can be tied into the VM plug. The camera addition has also been discussed on bimmerboard.com. Look for posts by Brian. Ask your Dealer to give you the Parts list for retrofit TV kit P/N 65 50 0 153 184. It will give you the complete list of parts and numbers you will need. Also ask him to print out the installation instructions for that kit.

i dont think they will go for digital or even the whole middle east but i liked the option... maybe one day we will have digital channels u never know on the other hand i mainly need this modul for the backup camera so i might not go with the installation for the TV but only the cam..so any suggestions what i will need to make it work? is this what i need? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/back-...fAudioQ5fVideo
and would the night vision work?

Hello again,

i have finished from assembling the TV modul with the Camera adapter, connected to the navigation unit...still need to find out how to mount the antinnas... but the thing i noticed is that, before i do this installation the moment i open the door, the BMW logo screen starts immediately , now it takes time... any advice how to correct that or whats wrong i made?

cheers

aftermarket camera install

ok, forget about the delay, bcoz after opening closing the door several times the splash screen apears immediately, seems the system needed time to be configured on he bus as a new component...
now i bough backup camera and would like to install it, but found that in most installations they use a relay to connect the camera into and not directly to the reverse light?
can someone advice if thats a must or optional Plz?

thanks a million

Relay is a must, because the TV tuner uses a input that is connected to ground to activate the reverse cam.
So the relay performs the function of activating the RevCam input.
