Question Post Code Entry?

Hi,

I live in the UK and have a 2004 X5 3.0d (UK), Mk4, upgraded to V26 and 2005-1 CD.

At the present time, I have to tenter my destaination using city/road format. Is there an option to enter post codes to find the destination.

I suspect the answer is no.....but its worth a question?

By the way v26 is brill....if your thinking about it, go for it.

Thanks

At least for the U.S. spec vehicles, there is no option to enter destinations other than by city/road or by using the map itself.

The post code only seems to work for London

Try typing in W

Then you should get a list of West London post codes ie W1 W2 W3 You get the idea

Yes I have noticed post codes seem to be absent I upgrade from a MK3 to the MK4 and then installed V26, I really miss the ease of input post codes offer

I must try my VDO/Dayton 2005/6 TMC CD in the Mk4 just to double check that they are not simply missing off the DVD as it certainly worked of the CD in the MK3

I have a MKIV unit as well, I never got post codes until I bought a disk
with the facility.
You have to buy a disk with postcode.
I got mine from http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=5786895971
Easy to deal with, fast delivery
Good luck

Sorry forgot to say
the postcode only works 5 digits
e.g. tq13 6, it does not work with full postcodes...shame
