2005 e53 front and rear cameras???

I was thinking about the front and rear cam in my 2005 e53 w/nav. However I know the rear cam works when the sav is put in rev, but how does the front cam operate? and do they work in conjuntion with each other like by a split nav screen for front and rear display [FONT='Verdana','sans-serif']simultaneously?[/FONT]
