WHICH DISC FOR WHICH VEHICLE?

Hi Guys & Gals,
A bit of a strange question but I'm flumuxed without some help...
A Friend who is a BMW rep has given my father a set of V.14 navi discs, they are green, purple & red. As we are a bit of a BMW family I'm sure they will be useful, however I don't know which suits which vehicle. Is there a website that explains this further? As I'm sure some of my mates will be bugging me for info...
Any advice is greatly appreciated...
