Unlocking tv in motion and adding dvd player

ok

on the advice of this forum i have ordered the i-bus interface from germany and will use navcoder when it arrives

BUT would like to use the video in on the nav unit to input a dvd player but seem to find it difficult to understand why the cables or loom is so expensive

Can you putchased the plugs and make the leads yourself ?

Isn't THIS what you need? Not that expensive in the big scheme of things is it?

If you have the "Television" option on your main navigation menu, then you have a TV tuner onboard.

Buy a TV/Video module and cables/antenna's and plug it in. The system will recognise the module and add it into the menu. Leave out the antenna's if you only want to use it for DVD and/or backup camera.

No, that cable provides only the facilities in the original TV Tuner, which is:

1 x AV-In
1 x AV-Out
1 x Rev Cam In
