Updating MKIV Nav on a Z8...

Saw an '03 Z8 today and checked out the Nav system on it...

With that simple radio, I was surprised to find an MKIV system powering it!?

Anything special I need to know to update the Nav system on this that would be different than a standard upgrade with an actual screen?

Would simply popping in a v32 CD and then buying a new copy of the 2009 maps do the trick? Or does something crazy need to be do?

Thx!

Oh, the z8 nav screen looks like this:

You have simple monochrome display...

No specific action should be done.... Just burn the navi update and follow the standart instructions

yes, at a guess I'd say it uses the business (not HIGH or PRO) dvd as well

Yes it will take an appropriate file from navi SW for the monochrome devices.

Are you sure? AFAIK MK4 even in the monochrome mode uses the same HIGH map disk.... or no? MASK systems use different (not Prof)

I'm confused by the original poster. Are you the owner of the Z8 and trying to update your system?
