What model nav is this? Can info be updated?

Hi guys, I have the following nav in my 2003 E46. Can the info regarding streets, etc be updated for this unit? I cannot see the logic in purchasing an updated CD/DVD with maps on it, when my unit cannot show maps!

Welcome to the forums,

That's is the business radio navigation unit and it depends on the unit in the boot as to whether it can be OS updated.

Also, updating the "map" cd/dvd is a good idea as it will have newer roads and the like on. just because it can't display map pictures doesn't mean there's no point.

You need business radio navigation cd/dvd (HIGH).

Not sure how to get the os version number off that display, but if you need an OS update, get the v32/v32 (this forum) and burn yourself
