ipod cables are not wired the same as standard AV cables. That's why its not working Use a 3.5mm to 2xRCA adapter (NOT 3xRCA!), and an ipod to RCA adapter, then it will work - 1 x RCA for video, 1 x RCA for audio. Last edited by KiwiJochen; 08-06-2009 at 02:40 AM. |

Remember: you need ipod to 3 x RCA (Video + Left + Right) Remember: the BMW system uses a stereo 3.5mm connector and puts video on the ring and audio on the tip. So you need a Stereo 3.5mm adapter to 2xRCA sockets. Then connect the ipod Video and the Left _or_ the Right audio to the 2xRCA adapter Then it will work. And of course, iPod output video format must be the same as AV IN video format. |
