Does any1 know p/n for the 05/06 mk4 navigation laser
as the title asks ive had trouble reading dvds with my mk4 so i read up and find out to change the lasr or full mech so i chose to change the laser problem being when i get it and open it upi find that my dvd drive is actualy a (DVD M3.5) and not the dvdm3 like all the write ups are on about there is no pn wrote on my laser so does any1 have this pn so i can order it thnx
also it is a different 1 as the ribbon connector is wider thnx in advance peeps the dvd drive pn is (6590 6 969 263 01) manuafactured nov 05. Last edited by sancho; 07-01-2009 at 03:01 PM.

hi just an update for anyone who has come across this i got the laser from this ebay link
DVD Laser Head Lasereinheit in BMW DVD-M3.5,VW RNS-510 on eBay (end time 20-Jul-09 01:09:46 BST) that laser is for the mk4 also but the later ones ive found so they do a DVD M3 and a DVD M3.5 and altho the laser itself looks very similar the ribbon is much thinner this is also the black cap one.
