2000 X5 Navi is this plug and play?
Right now I have this unit: ![]() I was wondering, what all do I need to make this unit work in my x5: ![]() One more question actually too what is the most current software for the unit I have in my car as of right now. TIA Nick. |

Sould be plug and play, although I think that 16:9 might be missing a bezel.
For software versions suitable for unit, I belive there are detailed threads available using the search on this forum, with instrucitons to follow to-the-letter to avoid 'bricking' your unit. |

Thanks for your reply. I burned v31 to a disk as an image but could not get it to work so I just put my other disc back in. What am I doing wrong? Sorry for being such a noob with all this I use to drive Honda's and know everything about them but the BMW is a whole new world.

First check your existing version, the update will only take if you have an old version. Then make triple sure you burned it in the MODE/FORM as detailed explicity in the update guides others have made for us. Remeber that if you doin't do this properly as instructed in the detailed pictoral instructions, you can irepperably damage the nav drive.
