Problem with tv modul

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with a tv modul ^^
Number part : 65.50-8 375 553
I have a bmw E46 320cd coupe, equiped with nav 16:9 system and MK4...

Recently I have buy a tv modul on ebay and installed it in my car.
The problem is that when i plug the tv modul, the screen oscillate :s
I think there is a problem with format of the tv output, but how to configure this when I can't read nothing on the screen?

Other things, I'm not sure that the tv modul is compatible with my car, but as i can read on ebay, all tv modul is the same for e36, e39 or e46...
So, can you help me?

Thank you

That is a pretty old P/N and I don't know if it will sync with a wide screen. Some of the early ones won't work with the WS. I have posted all of the VM P/Ns on the nav forum at bimmerboard.com. Do a search there for them.

Another question plz.
On some notice on the net, i have read this : After the installation work the retrofit TV function must be coded using DIS or MoDiC via the Retrofit pat.

If i buy a good tv modul for my car, is it working directly correctly? Or i have to go to a bmw dealer to activate the fonction via the MODIS?

You don't need the dealer for anything. Look for a hybrid VM since you are in Europe. I have posted the P/Ns on BB forum.

i retrofited navi+tv on my e46 several month ago, never code anything (except vin on navi), and it works with no problem, maybe i'll do this next days(months)...however, @roy is right, if you can, buy a hybrid video module

Ok thank you for your information!

I search for Hybrid tv modul on ebay but don't found actually.
But what i see is people who sell tv modul for 16:9... That's what they said but the product number is 6 911 221...
And in the list of Roy this product number is considered only for 4:3 :s
And no one announce,... already 3 or 4 announce that said is for 16:9 navi but the product number 221...

What's wrong?

Last question :
Ok, so I have buy a wrong modul tv.
Is there no way to recode it?
I means, if I go to BMW specialist can he recode the tv modul to work with my car? Or if I use a program like NAVCODER?

Neither NavCoder nor the BMW dealer can recode it.

But this company can:
