Most Up-To-Date Map CD Usable in MKII V.22?

Hi Guys,

I've got a 2000 BMW 540i with the MKII Nav (updated to V.22 software) and I need to know what the most recent CD-based map is that will work with my set-up.

I looked on the Navteq website and they seem to indicate that I need the V.2008.1, but isn't that a DVD?
Is there a CD-based V.2008.1 map also?

I've searched for hours and can't seem to find a solid answer to this... short of calling Navteq.

Cheers!

BMW still support CD maps for CD based systems, so the most recent map will be a 2010 map

Slight variations occur depending on issue dates and regions concerned: some regions have maps issued twice a year, others yearly, others once every 2 years

So if you are sliglty too early for the 2010 map, then guarranteed there is a 2009 map available.

Ask at the official supplier for your region, which generally is BMW...

Thanks for the info, I didn't know the CD system was still supported by BMW. I might have to give my dealer a call tomorrow.

In my home country BMW still release CD maps. Like I said, variations will occur depending on region.
