landrover MK3 ?

hey guys so i got a landrover mk3 out of a 2003 range and put it in my 01 X and so i got my on board computer back,but my navigation disc is a langrover one and its only for southern america and im in canada so it says" vehicle out of map range" so i tryed my bmw disc and when i go to change the country to canada it freezes... so i got my buddys 06 range tryed his cd and his just goes in and comes out affter abt 3 seconds... what could be the issue ? what nav disc would i need?

LR MK3 is differnt to the BMW one as it supports off road maps. First check the LR map disk in your friends BMW to see if it is compatible. Is his map disk DVD as it is 06? Also is the 06 LR even based on the BMW system? I think LR had split from BMW by then.
