BMW NAV 2006.2 look and feel

How to revert to the BMW NAV 2006.2 look and feel? After inserting 2010.2 DVD the software upgraded and doesn't want to revert. Help!

What year and model car? What look and feel things changed? There are a number of differnet BMW nav systems out there.

The map data are independent of the nav computer OS that give it the look and feel. So, if you only bought and inserted a new map disk, that would not change the nav OS software.

2006 e66 with NAVI03. I like the original amber-colored circle for the car position and amber-colored zoom. When I inserted 2010.2 DVD it upgraded to a gray-colored cirle and once you change the zoom on the map the zoom changes its' color to gray. I tried to reload v27 software but it didn't help. I think the navigation software settings only upgrade to the next version of the software (v27 is original for my unit, i.e. v9.3.0C), but not downgrade. When I inserted the original 2006.2 DVD the colors for items mentioned didn't change back but stayed. I tried to play with the software CDs (v27, v32, loaded a v26 which is prior to v27) but nothing helped.
