Get it here:
(Fresh from this morning) MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service Original Range Rover OS, Mode2Form1, contains Mk3 version 3-1/32 This is the last version ever released for the Rover nav system, and dates fro April 2003 NOTE: check your OS before updating. Look in the top right of the Settings screen If you already have 3-1/32 then do not try an update because it won't change anything, and carries the risk that you will break the nav |

thanks kiwi, we cant even access the menu at the moment it just says insert disc when we put the headunit onto satnav..
Do you know if a 'CDkey' disc will be required I have read about these being needed for some MKIIIs? Many thanks |

That looks like a Mk2 nav. But it might be a Mk3
It has x-1/41 software loaded To find out the x, identify the nav in the boot, or read the software version from the settings screen |

I'm embarrased to say I couldn't get into any other settings screen. I held buttons down and couldn't find any other settings menu

That is a Mk3 nav
And to let you off, the SET screen is indeed not showing the SW version :-) You would likely benefit from a RR OS software update. Original OS disc is here: Home Make a CD from the image file using ImgBurn PS: NavCoder would confirm if it has a RR OS or a BMW OS loaded. If BMW OS, then update to 3-1/63 and enjoy a much better menu |

I forgot to pack my Navcoder interface before leaving!
![]() With the RR OS would I lose the auto day/night mode? Edit: it's a single tuner 1999 factory install. What functions/improvements changed with the Range Rover code? It's not my car and I don't want to upset the owner by downgrading his setup. Last edited by big bob; 04-03-2010 at 02:28 PM. |
