MK4 No Travel Information Or General Destinations.
Hello,

I have an MK4 system with v32 firmware.
Now the problem is when i go to Travel Information i get a blank screen,
i can't search for hotels, restaurants, airports, etc and i don't have the
option General Destinations.
Does anyone know how to fix this or what the problem could be ?
I have an 2010 High DVD with speedcams in the system (which i not use) just for testing purposes, because i just have my first BMW so still
figuring some stuff out.
I already have my MK4 back to dutch using the resler i-bus interface on my cd changer cable, but now i have to get the original poi working.
I think the problem lies in the DVD, but i'm unsure so i ask here for a
little help.

this problem is not from software or DVD


its problem on the NAV DVD


from where did you get it?


what is the file included the DVD?

Hello,

Okay, well i got the software dvd from usnet with speedcams.
But i don't need or use the speedcams, but this is the only dvd5 i found the rest is all dual layer and i'm unsure if my laser will read it.
If i download the original dual layer 2010 high dvd then wich is the best dvd to use to burn it on ? I heard Verbatim DL-R ?

Okay so i made you a print screen.
Also can i burn the original DVD9 to a DVD5 by deleting stuff or anything ?

this professional DVD it wont work with your Car i think business DVD or high will work!

Hello,

Well that's strange because i can navigate to everywhere but i can't search for any hotels or restaurants and stuff.
And they claim this is the High dvd so i don't know.

I have a BMW E46 from 2003 with a Professional System and a MKIV DVD.

try to get these address by sound command press the voice button on your steering for 3 second then say hotel current location and reply for me what will you get

The car is not here at the moment.
But i'll try that out as soon as it's back!
I also found another dvd5 no customized, so gonna check that out to.
