Question Problem with reading DVD +R DL nav disks

Hello,

I updated my navi professional MK4 to latest FW, V32.
I down****ed 2010-1 Europe HIGH map, burned it with imgburn to a Verbatim DL disk, into the car, worked very good, very nice map, much better then the 2007 i have now.

One evening i sat in the car just pressing buttons on the navi, and suddenly it froze... Removed the disk, and inserted again, and then it wouldnt read it. And still wont read it. I have burned 3 new copies, but no..

Also downgraded to a lower verson, and then to V32 again, but still not working.

Anyone have a idea of what i can do?

Best Regards.

Open the 2010 image in ultraiso (or similar) and then delete all the un-needed languages on the disc and burn to a SL disc.

Mk4's don't like non OEM DL discs.

Okay, but the 2010 disk containsof 4-5 files..
Will they be opended as one cd?

And there i will find the language files?

Strange that it worked the first time, but not anymore
But i will try this! Thank you very much!

??

This is the 2007 disc (to give you the idea)

See the languages (under the selected ENG)...

Remove all the unwanted languages but the one you use and it will now fit on a SL disc.

So if you use ENG, then delete FRE, GER, SPA and ITA.

the iso file is the whole image of what was on the original disc alpejohn.
when you burn to disc only the iso file is burnt, the others were made when unzipping the file ignore them, unless they say instructions or how to!

When i downloaded it, there was 4-5 files called something .000, .001 and so on, they where 1.5 gb each, and there was one iso file 3-400 kb that i mounted in imgburn.

But i can try to open the file on 3-400kb in ultraiso, and se if i get the whole cd

I can post a picture later

Correct this is just to make the image a bit more transportable for up and down loading.

use winrar (or similar) to join together and unzip, you should the get a 6.2GB file. thats the map image, open this in ultraiso and then delete the langs.
