After nav swap no tv option in menu

After I swap my old nav with new one my tv option disappeared from Menu.....Navi boot fine with bmw logo and all that stuff....When I open the door no more clock end date in monitor with white line.....before I have this option....Now I have just bmw logo!!!
WHAT am I doing wrong?

1) What swap did you make? MK3 to MK4?

2) Did you adjust the connections at the TV monitor (white & blue pugs) or only adjust the nav (blue and wine plugs)

3) BMW logo comes with later versions of the Operating System

4) Did you remove the battery -ve terminal for 30 minutes.

Mk3 -Mk3 new one......
Yes I did.....White end Blue Plugs are in tv modul.......
Yes I now but,with older nav when I open the door first came clock end datum on nav monitor then com bmw logo.....Now screen goes up with blue back light but no clock end datum.....3 sec later come bmw logo.....
No I did not remove - terminal from batery.....This is important or what?

Yes first remove the battery -VE, and wait 30 minutes, then reconnect.

After this, if TV is working, set the clock. I think you may never get back your missing clock logo, sorry.

Ok after battery reset no change.....No tv option in menu!Next step is.....?
Dont tell me....Bay new tv modul?

Unplug new MK3. The TV should take over graphics generation.

No LCD display graphics = Kaput TV tuner. Sorry.

Yes....Tv tuner is definitely kaput.....doesn't matter.I will sold working parts like navi,screen etc end bay Dinavin.......it's better it's cheaper!

For me, TV is not really a big deal. They are switching to digital TV soon anyways.

Edit: you could check the TV tuner a little more. You can use Navcoder and a Resler interface to check the TV it there, you can check for bad wiring in the antenna or the connectors, you can check for voltages on the cables, you can take off the battery and the nav all night and see if the TV tuner comes back!
