About a month ago, I had them install their DVD player/TV tuner unit in my '05 4.4i. So far it works very well... TV reception isn't great, but I understand that's to be expected. One footnote: their customer service leaves much to be desired, but they seem to do a very good job where it counts.

You can get an adaptor now thats ready avaiable from e bay for UK £55.00 add this and then PIN out for ext AV input/output. this is by far the cheapest way to do it.
I have PIN information if required and allowed. |

(If so, then you'd have to take out your Nav disc to play a movie... not a huge problem, I guess... just a bit inconvenient.) |

reaing the feedback of that ebayer, I would STAY AWAY from those auctions. The only proper way to get TV to your NAV unit is to use one of the solutions already discussed in Articles.
SteveAudioX: This is your 4th post in 24 hours regarding this product, I would consider that SPAM! |

Mr Smith.
I just joined this forum. Having read through these AV forums and understanding people are buying expensive adaptors when they do not need to. I am providing usefull information. On the BMW with sat nav and built in TV tuner, the link I provided is the cheapest way I found to bypass the "video whilst in motion" on the bMW monitor. The next stage, if you fellow forum members would like to know is to obtain some "PINS" from TYCO or AMP and insert these into the white connector at the TV tuner box. This box also is ready to accept an additional NTSC reversing camera video input and has a pin location on the same plug for "exciting" this input. Am I trying to sell something? NO Am I trying to save some forums members the expense? YES So grow up.... As you do not own these forums... As far as BMW media is concerned, I belong to the engineering group of BMW AG. If you do not wish me to provide lots of usefull information on these forums, I will simply leave... And you can take your big pride and carry on with all these companies trying to sell product which is expensive and simply not required. The reason for my quick post's within 24 hours, is that i can not believe how much money you forums members are spending un-necessary. Even the AUX input adaptors.. Which I can give you information to build your own for about $5.00 and control the AUX in from your MODE button... But since you think you own these forums and do not need my help or aid.. Then good luck to you ! Those of you who wish to have some information from me, feel free to keep posting and I will reply.....

there is feedback after feedback on that ebay listing that indicates this "solution" does not in fact work. What basis do you have for claiming it does?
