2005 X3 - GPS Software Update v32

Hi All,

Little confused here, maybe even substantially confused!

I recently got my hands on the software upgrade disc to update my in car GPS system to version 32 - I ran the upgrade with no issues, it said on the screen it would take around 5 minutes but I honestly think it took around 1 minute.

Seemed all good, rebooted like I thought it would.. no issues

My question is when I go to the settings menu, it shows the version as "4-1/10"

I was under the impression it should show "4-1/00" ... when I google "4-1/10" it says it was actually a beta version of the software - not sure how that all happened.

So right now, I really have no idea what I am running?

I am able to put the GPS into perspective mode when I go into the service menu, and I thought that was only available on the latest version.

I've done some searching but I just keep sending myself in circles!! I had a look over through the bimmerfest forum and have spent some time searching here too... hopefully I haven't gone straight past the answer (in fact i better search more now)
