Blank Screen/Radio Frozen
My 16:9 screen is blank and none of the buttons on the radio work. (The orange illumination behind the buttons on radio are still on)
However, the radio is on and I am able to adjust volume and change station via sterring wheel. Anyone know whats going on? I know it's not a dead screen as i replaced it a few months back. And if screen was dead, i'd still be able to use the buttons on the radio. I suspect my Dice MB 1500 crashed it somehow, but i cannot be sure..unplugged battery and the radio still dont come back.

That sounds like the screen became completely unplugged or it is totally fried.
If the buttons do not work, that is an indication that the I-Bus wire is not connected. Since the whole thing is dark, that more likely indicates that the screen is not getting power. It is a mystery that the radio on LED would be working. I would pull the screen and verify that everything is properly connected.

I have a similar sort of problem where the sound goes off and i loose all button controls. After a while the orange power light goes out aswell and i have to unplug the BM54 and plug it in again. It will work for a while then go off again??? Sorry if ive hijacked your thread!
