Just purchased a 2000 M5 with a Navigation problems - Please Help
Dark screen/The screen occasionally shows white lines(horizontal) like its trying to work?
Radio works for a minute or two at a time, then shuts off?
Light on Nav unit in trunk flashes about every second.

This is a symptom of a bad navigation computer. Most likely, if you replace the nav computer, everything will come back to life.
