Did I get ripped off?

I just purchased a 2012 bmw high west disc off ebay. I popped the disc in my computer drive, just to see what was on the disc. I think I got a 2010 disc, and not a 2012 disc but wanted to make sure.

I put their 2012 west high disc in my computer drive, and see that in the file folder TPD, a folder called tccBusa_naw_20091228. is located in the disc. I do believe this is a 2010 disc masked as a 2012. Am I correct?

If you bought a legitimate disk, it is printed on the disk label and you are OK. If you bought an illegitimate disk, then all bets are off.

Is it an original or a copy?

Usually it is easy to tell at a glance if you have a burned or stamped DVD. Can you see the light green, light purple, or other dye color on the back side? Can you see a color change near the outside edge?

Yep, the back should be pure silver. My hunch is you bought a disk from a pirate. You are in the all-bets-are-off category.
