Re-code MS35080

Hello everyone
Don't know if this is the right section for this thread. If not, I'm sorry

I retrofited a used High obc in a e39 (with low obc).
It's all ok, except the VIN and KM in the M35080, and I'm trying to figure out how to change this stored info. PAsoft is a good tool at many things, but with theseIC's is useless. So my questions are:

1. Some of you know a tool that can make this change?

2. If I replace the IC with a brand new one, it's possible, when turn on the car, it's updated with the VIN and KM stored in the EWS (for example), in their respective memory areas? Or is that not possible?
If it's possible, I think I will follow this route...

Thanks in advance

Can't you swap the IC from Low KOMBI to High KOMBI ?

IF not, you need to take a new blank IC (000 miles) and code the VIN and the mileage is then copied into the KOMBI.

M35080 programmer is the only way to do this on E39's made after about 08/98 You might want to think twice about posting the procedure for clocking a car on a public form though!
