Oil Drain plug: - Using the 8mm Hex Screw Bit, remove the nut and drain the oil from the Oil Pan. http://www.xoutpost.com/images/articles/84/DSC00754.JPG http://www.xoutpost.com/images/articles/84/DSC00783.JPG http://www.xoutpost.com/images/articles/84/DSC00785.JPG Finishing it off: - Replace all the O rings with the new rings - Replace Oil Drain plug crush washer - Place new filter into the container - Screw in the oil filter drain plug back in to the oil filter cover and tighten to proper torque specs (10Nm). - Fill the oil container with a qt. of oil to prevent oil starvation during initial start-up - Install oil filter container back into its' place and tighten to proper torque specs (25Nm). - Plug the oil drain and tighten to proper torque specs (25Nm). - Pour-in the remaining oil - Check for any leaks... - Check oil level - Lower the vehicle - Test Drive the X5! <center> http://www.xoutpost.com/images/articles/84/DSC00763.JPG </center></td> </tr> <tr style="FONT-FAMILY: times new roman"> <td width="100%"> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </center> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </center> YouTube Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wohUA-zs3OY |
