Post Draft Analysis
Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the team that I drafted. Feeling confident that I should be fairly competitive week-to-week. Let the woop-ass begin!!!
Interested to hear how others feel about their draft. Think your team is ready to run with the big dogs??? :nanana: |
I agree you've got a good team but it won't be enough once you play my team....
BTW, is NFLPROPICKS an X5World member team or a system generated team? |
My WR's are a tad suspect, but I got some good RBs, Vinatieri should do me right on the high-scoring Colts and Eli Manning is a decent starting QB, so I'm ready for another .500 season:D

After reviewing all of the rosters....the Prowlers are the team to beat again. He has the top QB, D, and kicker from last year...a decent RB and WR...a very shrewd draft.
I like to run my team from week to week depending upon match ups and will rotate a few players depending upon the strenght of what they are up against but the Prowlers and just line up every week and tell you to out score them. |
The cheerleaders are ready! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: |
i would've liked to had a higher pick in the draft, but i think i might be ok.
w/ the Ravens possibly having a passing game this year, defenses won't be able to put 8 in the box to stop Jamal. a buddy of mine turned me onto Leinart. he said that Warner hasn't finished a season in quite sometime now. i guess time will tell. |
I've got two decent quarterbacks, ONE good receiver (M. Harrison), and a good defense. I also have Vandejadt as my kicker so, I will hopefully score enough points to be somewhat competetive. My remaining WRs are suspect, though. I hope that with Marz gone, ST. Louis will run the ball more, which means more points via Steven Jackson.
I don't think I have a championship team, but I hope to make it to the playoffs! PLAYOFFS?!? PLAYOFFS?!? :D Juan |
The winner will be determined by injuries (or a lack thereof), not by the best defense and kicker from last season. The difference in points between the best and middle level kicker is negligible. Plus, it takes a good 'coach' to activate the right people from week to week. This is not so easy. Wasting points on the bench is a major annoyance.
I had some problems with the Java applet last night. I could have sworn I drafted Randy Moss with the 1st pick of the 3rd round, but I got Antonio Gates instead. I am not complaining by any means--Gates is the best TE hands down--but it made me change my strategy. Oh well. Who wants to make a trade for the sake of making a deal?! I love to deal, so let's get wheelin'!! |
trades will make or break ya. juan and i traded last year and i got Santana
Moss out of it. while Juan had him, i don't think he had 2 TD's over 6 weeks. i start him and he has a breakout game and then ends the season just as strong. crazy turn of events, but hey, that crap happens. |
Trades in Fantasy football are kinda foolish unless two or three people are helping each other load up everyweek and rotating players. IMO.
