Interesting vehicle. I like the concept, but not sure about the visual heaviness. Agree it does look better in a darker colour. If the front is the same as the new 5 then that should look great.
The car is probably targeted at someone like me (E60 owner, likes both headroom and versatility, considering a touring, wants something a little different) but it also smacks of country club, older driver, etc. Personally, it has come along just in time for me to downsize to something smaller and lighter. Maybe the 3 series GT when it comes out. |
Ah, those cream white interiors...
Hope that gauge shot was in a lower gear than cruise: those rpms at 66 mph look like my undergeared 5 spd manual X. Slightly interesting car; if I hit the lotto it might make my long list... Looks sort of like a 7 with a Booty attached. Thanks for the pics, as usual, LM! GL,mD |

Respect cause it's a BMW...but it seems to have a front/rear of a 7 series with the taillights at least...not my cup of tea either...

I love the interior. It really looks beautiful. I can't imagine actually buying a white interior. Can you imagine it after a year? On the exterior... It looks terrible. The rear end is hideous and the side lines look very choppy. I give it an F- for exterior design. I second the motion that BMW is coming out with far to many designs. They need to focus on their care vehicles and make them best in class. Not a smart move BMW...

I'm not sure if I like it or not, but I do have to give them props on that cool double trunk/hatch design.
