Microfilter Replacement DIY

Microfilter Replacement DIY HOW TO CHANGE THE MICROFILTER 1. Unlock and open hood 2. Look for a black, rectangular-shaped plastic cover that sits directly behind the engine cover (Figure 1). You will see two (2) spring-loaded round screws on both sides of the cover and one (1) rectangular latch in the middle. To remove the cover, turn both round screws counter-clockwise 90 degrees (Figure 2). Then turn the middle latch counter-clockwise 90 degrees (Figure 3.) Lift up the cover to expose the microfilter (Figure 4.) Remove and discard the microfilter and replace with a new one. The part number for the microfilter is 64-31-8-409-043 and costs round USD $27.
